We’re Anna and Aarni, Finnish couple living above the Arctic Circle in beautiful Rovaniemi. Our life is shaped by the northern seasons: endless summer sunlight, silent winter nights, and skies that burn with the green fire of the Northern Lights.
We live here, all year round.
We shovel snow at −30 °C, pick berries under the midnight sun, and watch the reindeer pass our windows. Every recommendation you find on this site is based on our real life in Lapland, tested, experienced, and photographed by us.

We created this blog and vlog to share what life here really feels like, beyond brochures and tourist snapshots. Every photo, story, and video you see here comes straight from our everyday adventures in Lapland.
Instead of creating another polished travel site, we wanted something more personal. This is a space for storytelling, laughter, and honest travel advice. From the excitement of chasing auroras to the quiet magic of frozen mornings, this project is our love letter to the North.
